What this step involves

Before inviting sanctuaries to apply for grants, we start by reviewing each sanctuary’s strategic plan and learning more about its vision, priorities, and current capacity. This first step helps us ensure our funding is thoughtful, aligned, and genuinely supportive of long-term impact for animals.
Submitting your details here is not a grant application. It is the first step in a transparent, values-led funding pathway.

What happens next

After reviewing submissions:
  • Selected sanctuaries will be invited to a conversation with our team to discuss their plans in more depth
  • Sanctuaries not moving forward at this time will receive constructive feedback to support future growth
  • All sanctuaries, regardless of funding eligibility, are welcome to participate in our SPAA for Sanctuary learning community
