Food and Beverages
Welcome BBQ on Day 1 – we will host a BBQ and bonfire!
Food for Days 2 and 3 – Participants are responsible for bringing their own meals and snacks.
- All food brought onsite must be vegan.
- There will be a refrigerator to store some food items during the day.
- We recommend simple, travel-friendly items.
Beverages – We will provide:
- Coffee and tea
- Water
- Additional non-alcoholic beverages

Pre-Reading

Agenda and Schedule
Wednesday – 3 to 8pm
Welcome BBQ and Bonfire – Join us as we get to know one another, meet some of the animals, and gobble up some delicious food! We’ll also enjoy a “Fireside Chat” about some important sanctuary topics.
In addition to the agenda below, each sanctuary will enjoy one-on-one time with Steve Jenkins (during the breaks) to discuss your volunteer and employee engagement practices and your social media strategy. Steve will remain your “personal coach” even after our time together has ended.

Arrival and Check-In
Please aim to arrive slightly early on Day 1 so parking and check-in feel unhurried. A welcome area will be clearly marked.
